The Faith Community Educational Institute has been in existence since 2005. FCEI is described as an adult education—continuing education program that issues a high school diploma after students have completed the required course work. Prior to November, 2007 the Faith Community Educational Institute was called the Marion Williams Bible Institute-Decatur Annex (MWBI-Decatur Annex). The name was changed to Faith Community Educational Institute (FCEI). This adult education program is accredited under the same accrediting agency—FCEI ADULT EDUCATION Program operates as a “Home-School Entity under *ILLINOIS SCHOOL CODE (105 ILCS526-1- ). The name change permits the school to apply for and receive grants and donations.
Thus far there have been more than 500 students who have completed the program and received their high school diploma. Many of the students are presently attending various community colleges—some have graduated from the community college and are attending or have graduated from a four-year college. Some FCEI students have been promoted to a higher-level position at their present employment, and some have been able to obtain their first “real” job.

Also, Safety Network, Decatur, Illinois has been in collaboration with FCEI from 2008- 2014 which provides for students who are indigent and would like to return to school.
FCEI is striving to improve and implement resources that will permit continued growth.

2) Additional, larger scholarships/grants for those indigent students
3) Additional visual aid equipment
4) A larger facility to facilitate more classroom space
5) Update of computer lab to include additional printer and laptop computers
