Biographical Sketches of the Pastor Gogins and Lady Gogins


Pastor Gogins has been in the ministry for over 40 years.  He is an ordained minister with the Pentecostal Assemblies of the World. Inc. (PAW, Inc.) since 1974.

His education accomplishments include:

1979 B.A. Business Administration – Governors State University
1982 Certification in Christian Counseling – Chicago School of Ministry
1994 M.A. Theological Studies – McCormick Theological Seminary
2000 D.Min. Pastoral Counseling –GMoore Theological College

Pastor Gogins served faithfully as an assistant to the Pastor at the Apostolic Faith Church in Chicago, IL.  He later served as an Associate Minister and Manager of Finances at the True Holiness Pentecostal Chicago, IL.  Pastor Gogins, also, served as Chaplain at the University of Illinois Hospitals from 1997-2000.

Lady Norma F. Gogins has been a public school teacher for over 25 years.  She retired in the year 2000 as Attendance Dean from Bloom High School District #206 in Chicago Heights, IL.  Her educational accomplishments include:

1979 –Illinois State Administrative Certificate Type 75 Endorsement

She presently is the Instructor for the FCEI Adult Education Program.  Lady Gogins, also, serves as the Church Administrator for the Faith Community Assembly.  She continues to serve as a substitute teacher or administrator in the Decatur Public School, District #61.

Pastor Kenneth L. and Lady Norma F. Gogins were married in 1964. They have two adult children, four grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.   They moved to Decatur, IL in 2005 from the Chicago land area to assume the pastorate of the Zion Tabernacle Apostolic Church (now Faith Community Assembly of the Apostolic Faith).   They quickly adjusted to their new environment and have become active in various city functions and organizations.
